A World of Endless Travel Possibilities

RONGAI [6-DAYS]

Rongai – 6 Days

GROUP DEPARTURE/PRIVATE DEPATURES ARE AVAILABLE
Why this itinerary?

For those looking to do a shorter Kilimanjaro trip then this version is generally considered easier than the 6 day Machame route but bear in mind the final ascent is via Gilman’s point and so the final push to Uhuru Peak is actually quite far. We normally recommend the 7 day version for better acclimatization and more interesting route.
Description

A 6 day ascent of Kilimanjaro starting on the Eastern side of Kilimanjaro. This side of the mountain is relatively dry and has a relatively short forest zone. It skirts the base of Mwenzi and then ascends via Gilman’s point to Uhuru Peak. The descent is via the Marangu route trail.
